How we compare

Full transparency: what we checked, what we didn’t, and why a model makes our list.

The method in short

BayitGuide
  1. Official specsCapacity, energy use, noise, size, Shabbat mode and features, from manufacturer and importer pages.
  2. Warranty and serviceOfficial importer vs parallel import, years of warranty, who services it.
  3. Shop pricesDated price ranges from Israeli shops, VAT included.
  4. Fit for the needEach model says who it suits and what you give up.
  5. What we didn’t doWe did not test products at home and did not invent scores or reviews.

How a model makes the list

A model is recommended only if it is sold in Israel today (we found it in a shop or at the importer), its specs match the need the page answers, and its price is reasonable against similar models. Each model lists its source, its strengths and what to check. When we lack information, we don’t recommend.

Price ranges on each page are checked on its update date. We update pages when prices, models or warranty terms change; the update date is at the top of every page.

How the site is funded

Some shop links may be affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission from the shop, at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not affect the order of recommendations. No ads, no sponsored placements, no free products.

Questions about the method

Did you test the products yourselves?

No. We are not a lab and will not write that we tested a product we never had. Comparisons rely on official specs, Israeli importer warranty terms and prices shown in Israeli shops, following the fixed rules on this page.

How do you make money?

Some shop links may be affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission, and your price does not change. There are no ads or sponsored placements, and no manufacturer or shop can buy a spot in our recommendations.

How current are the prices?

Each page shows its update date. Prices are what we saw in shops and price-comparison sites on that date, VAT included and usually without installation. Every model links to the shops so you can check today’s price.

Why do you recommend the official importer?

In Israel, warranty and service depend on the importer. A parallel-import unit (yevu makbil) is sometimes cheaper, but the warranty is given by the seller, not the official importer, and spare parts or technicians can be an issue. We flag it for every model.
