Strengths
- ₪139 at Bug, the cheapest of the four coolers we checked, and still with a remote and timer.
- 60 W power draw according to the specs, less than a tenth of a portable AC.
- 4 wheels, side-to-side oscillation and a timer up to 12 hours.
Check before buying
- An air cooler is not an AC: according to the product page it's recommended for hot, dry areas, and in humid air like the Shfela and the coastal plain the effect is small.
- Airflow and coverage area are not published.
- No digital display, and the published dimensions are for the package.
